Ted Falcon Gypsy Trio
Mixing the sounds of gypsy jazz and Brazilian choro music, the Ted Falcon Gypsy Trio brings their upbeat sound to Bar Sopra in West Hollywood on January 30th. From the gypsy swing of Django Reinhardt to the Brazilian choro of Jacob do Bandolim, this swinging trio guarantees a fun evening of wild improvisations and lively interaction between the musicians.
Violinist and mandolinist, Ted Falcon has performed around the world playing gypsy jazz and choro music. Here he teams up with the versatile clarinetist, John Tegmeyer and renown swing guitarist, Josh Workman. The trio recently performed at the Rhythm of the City event at the Rendon in DTLA to critical acclaim. The concert featured 100 musicians and 40 bands from all over the world.
Bar Sopra is located above the Black ship restaurant near the intersection of Santa Monica and La Cienega Blvds. Parking after 8pm is free on La Cienega.
